The firm has 2 partners, 1 associate, 3 pupils and 2 clerks and paralegals. The qualification and professional experience of our advocates is as follows

1) John Wageche- Managing Partner

He holds Bachelor of Laws Degree (Hons) from the University of Nairobi(Parklands Campus), Post Graduate Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law. He is also a Certified Public Accountant(CPA-K) and an active member of the Law Society of Kenya. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Law Degree (LLM) in corporate & Fnancial law at the University of Nairobi.

He has previously worked as a senior legal officer both at the National Bank of Kenya and Spire Bank Limited where he gained extensive experience while heading the ligitation and debt collection portfolios. Additionally and prior to working for National Bank of Kenya & Spire Bank Limited, he was a senior associate advocate in the firms of CM Advocates LLP and Kairu Mbuthia & Kiingati Advocates where he acquired vast knowledge and extensive training in Land Law, Civil and Commercial Litigations and Legal Practice, Judicial Review, Debt Collection, Employment & Labour Law, Insurance Claims and Conveyancing and Real Estate.

He is a passionate advocate and an astute litigator. He has ably represented various clients in different capacities in the hierarchy of the court system including the Court of Appeal, the High Court, the Magistrate’s Courts and various quasi-judicial bodies and tribunals.

2) George Ruchathi- Partner

He holds Bachelor of Laws Degree(Hons) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa(CUEA), and a Post Graduate Diploma in law from Kenya School of Law. Mr. Ruchathi is an active member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), and a member of the Criminal Justice Committee.

Mr Ruchathi is an astute litigator, mediator and commercial law practitioner with passion and experience in Corporate law, Insolvency law, Civil and Commercial Law and Practice, Employment and Labour law, Electoral law, Debt Recovery, Family and Succession law. He has previously worked for the firms of Kairu McCourt Advocates as well as Kiogora Mutai & Co. Advocates he acquired vast experience in legal practice.

3) Stephen Manjai Mungai- Associate

A committed, motivated young individual, open to constructive criticism who believes in undertaking tasks assigned meticulously and delivering the highest standards. He has achieved great and timely results in the tasks assigned to him in the past and have shown aptitude to work under pressure. He has excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet set-deadlines. He has immense experience in drafting of pleadings, contracts, applications, submissions and other legal documents.He is also well vast with matters litigation.

4) Gladys Wamuyu- Consultant and Administrator

Ms. Gladys Wamuyu holds a degree in Bachelor of Co-operative Business(Accounting and Finance) from the Co-Operative University of Kenya. She is a Certified Public Accountant(CPA-K) and currently pursuing a course in Certified Investment Financial Analyst(CIFA).

Ms. Wamuyu doubles up as the firm’s administrator as well as a consultant on financial, tax and investment briefs that the firm takes up from our clients. As an administrator, she ensures the seamless running of office operations and the proper financial management of the firms operations.

Having previously worked for Mawji & Associates(Finance & Tax Consultants), Kenya Accountants and Secretaries Board(KASNEB) as well as the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge on finance and tax matters that the firm handles.

5) Paralegals

Has retained a competent team of pupils paralegal staff, clerks, legal secretaries to enhance our synergies and seamless working/service delivery with a view to providing professional and quality services to our esteemed clients.
